I’m a father first—and photography started with simply wanting to capture my son’s journey on the karate mat.
What began at state competitions grew into national championships and eventually watching him represent the U.S. National Team on the world stage. Along the way, I realized these photographs were capturing much more than competition.
They captured the moments.
The intensity before a match. The perfectly timed technique. The celebration after a win. The lessons learned after a loss. And sometimes, the split-second expressions that tell the whole story.
For our family, these photographs have become a way to relive the journey. For my son, they can be a way to study and learn. And for Mom… they’re definitely a way to proudly share those moments with family and friends.
That experience is what led me here.
